An update 3/19:
Big dealer found a piece of plastic jamming the troll so would not lockdown… fast easy fix…
As far as the sonar sidescan half screen it was cut in ducer line so new ducer installed...

Left boat 3/16 with big dealer who has been best at solving anything…
Gave them copy of “troll jumping” fix advice here to use if needed…

Update: still not lock down on the river today so printed out advice here &
made Tuesday appt at best dealer in the area… so...

I tapped the ducer more to center of the Ultrex foot…
will fish tomorrow and see

At dealer today he assured me it was fixed after a heavy lubing of those two pivoting areas at the end of the troll mount…
said that was his experience as the fix…
could be… got boat 5 years old...

I did but either missed exactly what to lube …
still does not lock down when deployed …
using a small bungee tie down...
