Welcome aboard!
Is anyone using the My-Wedge supports?
Trying to sell it whole. Not parting out yet.
I have a 2013 250 ProXS with a Gen II TorqueMaster Lower unit for sale
It has a crack in the water jacket on the STBD side of the #1 cylinder. Still runs; actually runs great.
Solid Gen II TM L/U...
To make it easier on yourself, I recommend installing a 1 1/2" drain pipe with a threaded plug. Sure would make emptying the tub easier. If you wanted to get real fancy, install a ball valve to...
Could an improper tightening procedure result in this type of problem? Like not following the prescribed sequence or over-torquing?
It's your horn.
Assuming you're not going to use the old transducer, just hit it directly with a hammer and knock it loose. Hand jam a chisel to knock out the bug chunks of epoxy and follow it with a palm sander....
That's what I do. Also, I keep my net in the partner rod ramp since I usually fish solo. Makes it easy to grab while not getting it in the way.
My fill oil fill tube had a crack in it and was causing an issue with filling the upper oil reservoir. The dealer had to pressure test it to find it.
Probably. There isn't much block between the coolant cavity and the sleeve. I was a little surprised by that.
I'll post some when I get her apart. It may be a while.
Apparently it was leaking out some compression (you'd have never known it while running) and pressurizing the coolant on the STBD side....

Well, they found a crack in the block adjacent to the #1 cylinder. Big enough to catch your fingernail. Repowering with a new V8.
I have about six Extreme reels that are about 10 years old and they're still kicking. I was always under the impression that Pflueger made them for BPS. I'm migrating to Daiwa Tatula reels now but...
The "hot side" on mine is the port side. Boat's been down in the shop since Nov, waiting for an exhaust plate. I finally got tired of waiting for a new one from Mercury and bought a very clean, used...

What is the heat alarm threshold for when it will emit a warning sound?
Also, can anyone tell me which bank the temp reading is pulled from when displayed on the...
I installed a KeelShield on my old boat, years ago. Took about an hour. I installed it in 2005. The current owner is a friend and the KeelShield; it's still there, almost 19 years later.
Very nice!
:beers:
I'm surprised that BASS and MLF don't have stricter compliance to NMMA visibility requirements for their competitors' boats. You have to be pretty tall to see over a 16" display while under way. Some...
