So I can confirm 3 things this afternoon,

1. trim bolt is in its proper position
2. trim gauge on dash will not register any movement. It’s just a factory Ranger gauge, but still it did work...

I would assume it’s closed, it trims way up and holds. The last unit I gave it a turn and slowed the leak down.
