Just put a duracell 31 into my X19. They battery fits into the BPS brand 27 group battery tray ($9.99) perfectly. It will not fit in the TH marine 27 group tray that came with the boat.

Replace the bearing with some ABEC7 bearings from Mikes Reel Repair. Then pick out the backlash.
