The General tab concerns sharing settings between UNITS. You have to turn off the VIEW globals.
It's been several years since I did that, you may have to also turn Globals off for every SI view you have so the settings are not shared.
It can be done with any ONIX/ION/SOLIX/APEX that has Side Imaging, but it takes some setting up.
Could do that before the Heiix units got that view choice.
Create an over/under view with both...
Can you mark a waypoint on the 360 view?
Do you have the Heading Line turned on for the Chart view?
Does the Heading Sensor control the position icon?
Is Auto-Configure ON for the Heading in...
What Heading Sensor source are you using?
I checked two Helix 12 MSI+ units (G3N and G4N) and a SOLIX G3 and none of them automatically deleted the Current Track when they were shut down. I did several start-ups and shut-downs with each unit...
Yes if you have all the batteries connected together in any manner. The wires and charger are antennas for RFI.
If you need to add the choke, disconnect the electronics circuit from the standalone...
Just one additional cable that is not included with the transducers==AS EC QDE Ethernet Adapter for the MEGA LIVE.
The Helix will have to be a DI+ or SI+ model.
ANY sonar device that pings frequencies at 200 kHz or lower will be heard by you. That is why I suggested you use your MEGA LIVE for that since it uses 1.0 MHz+
The pinging you hear is the 2D piezo in the Side Imaging transducer. Every sonar unit uses 2D sonar for the Depth so they all have the strong sonar pulse (pinging).
If you want to be quieter and...
The unit will indicate fish with the default settings==no adjustments needed. You just have to be where fish are to have that occur.

Helix units don't "detect" a transducer except the MEGA 360.
You will have to check the bar code label on the transducer cable.
Nothing changes using the SIDB Y cable except the physical...
The XP 9 20 is a 83/200 kHz 2D transducer that is standard for a first and second generation Helix.
The XP 9 HW is a Low-Q High Wide CHIRP transducer that is the standard for a third and fourth...
Continuous Navigation keeps GoTo functioning after you arrive at the GoTo location (will continuously show direction and distance to the GoTo location). With that off (default), the GoTo function...
I changed the gas spring in an Ultrex 80# 45" motor from 640N to 860N when I added the original 360=helped some. Then when I changed to MEGA 360 and added MEGA LIVE Target Lock, I doubled the 860N....
Minnkota has an adapter for the HW CHIRP piezo (DSC) in the MDI or MSI transducer for several brands. Does not support Down Imaging or Side Imaging with other brands.
That was done when the current...
Obviously, the person you talked to is clueless that the Sea Clear wiring harness is a dedicated power connection separate from the boat's wiring harness.
Have you looked at the manual's instructions for power on page 18?
MEGA Live Installation Guide (widen.net)
If the Sea Clean has all the negatives combined at some point, it's no difference--positive, negative, and drain connected to the starting battery.
Depends on the power connection.
If the Sea Clear is connected to the starting battery and the MEGA LIVE's negative and drain wire are combined, then it has water ground though the outboard.
If...
The two versions have the same contour maps.
VX Premium has Satellite Overlay and Shaded Relief.
The waters on the map cards are listed on the Humminbird website and HD surveyed locations are...
1. There is no SOLIX 16---10, 12, and 15.
Same Ethernet stuff you have now, just don't need the Ethernet adapters to connect the Ethernet cables to the display.
Don't need the Ethernet Switch...
With a SIDB Y cable, the 2D side only does 2D sonar, there is no circuit for Temp. Temp is provided by the SI transducer all the time.
If you want the use of the remote temp sensor of the 2D...
The AS GPS HS is a GPS antenna with a Heading Sensor (compass). It does not do Attitude like an AHRS. Do not see any reference that a Point1 does Attitude either.
One run to the bow with either a fuse panel or terminal block if you want in-line fuse holders. Minimum splices or no splices is a better install== all connections are supported.
You can daisy...
