    Trim gauge not working

    Is it a motor issue or a boat/gauge issue? I have a 93 Ranger 361v and a 94 Johnson fast strike 150.

It could be either one. You need to do some testing.
does the gauge show any movement when you turn the key on?
check the connections on the back of the gauge. There are three - power, ground sender wire.
Where is the gauge needle resting? Bottom, top, middle?
tilt the engine up and check to see if the trim sender arm can move. Look for broken wires. White with tan wire is the sender wire.

I haven't done much investigation yet, other than looking underneath and it does have the 3 wires on the back.
BTW, where can I get a water pressure gauge?

There is one for sale in the motor parts for sale section further down in the forums.
