I have a 2019 vexus avx1980. This mnea is under the dash. I have a g2 150 evinrude. What do these cables run? They don't go to locators. They both go toward the shifter area from under the driver's console. Just curious if they are stock fot the g2, fuel gauge, trim etc or for previous owners locators. It doesn't have the hot foot or fancy etec gauge that shows a bunch of data. Thanks
I have those wires in my 2019 AVX 1980 with G2 Evinrude. It was an inexpensive upgrade and gave me control over hand/foot throttle, fuel, hours, etc on my Garmin Echomap units. Nice feature to have and now that it's in your boat, depending on the electronics on your console, it might be worth hooking up...just gives you more info.
