    More Wedge Questions

So I am about to get my set complete.
I have a driver and 2 Hybrids coming in tomorrow.
A Callaway Rogue Driver, 4H & 5H in a Callaway Big Bertha OS

So right now here is my bag and what I have now.

    Rogue Driver.
    X-Hot Fairway wood
    X-20 NG Iron set 4-PW&SW
    4H Big Bertha OS
    5H Big Bertha OS
    Odyssey EXO Indu putter.

So I am thinking of putting a 5W in and taking out the 3W
And would like to add a wedge or two.
What Wedge degree is what I am confused about

From what specs I can find the PW is a 45 degree with 7 degree of bounce
The SW is a 55 degree with 11 degree of bounce.

So should I try and add a 58 degree wedge?
    Or a 52 degree also?

I'd add a 50 and 60 degree wedges to the set to keep your gapping. I'd go 10-12 degrees of bounce in both.

You may be asking the wrong question. When fitted, I told them I needed clubs for certain yardages, based on the courses played (par 3 lengths, layup yardages, etc). With that, I carry 45, 48, 50 and 56 degree wedges, and a 60 I can throw in as necessary.

Yes, to the 58? I'm carrying 58, 54, 50. For me, 58 (vs.60) is better from the fairway and don't give up anything around the green or bunker.

    I’m probably in the minority, but I don’t carry a bunch of wedges. I have a pw (47) and then I have a 50 and 54.

pw is around 130. 50 is about 115. 54 is 100 yards in.

Pay attention to the bounce vs the turf conditions. Hitting a low bounce wedge in some soft or soggy conditions could make you cringe.

I may be wrong, and please correct me if I am. Lower bounce for firmer groundz higher bounce for softer conditions.

Until your game is pretty good, I suggest avoiding a 60 degree wedge. Most lose more strokes than they gain with one. I couldn’t do without my 52 degree wedge.

Wedges are a huge rabbit hole to go down, hit the local store with indoor range and swing some to get a feel for what works best for you.
