I currently have a carbon 12 at my console with a live 12 at the bow.

l bought a live 12 to replace my carbon at console

Nema Backbone with Ethernet connections and point 1

what wires do I need to make the swap?

Direct swap from Carbon to Live, the only exception is IF you are running a 7 pin blue connector in-hull, you would need a 7 to 9 pin adapter to connect to the Live unit.
