Yup. The vast majority are cows and/or dogs.

Reminds me of a tournament years ago, my partner and myself caught several Bass casting spinner baits in the stirred up cow water of a creek. This was on the Indiana side of the Ohio river.

I see a lot of those in the swimming areas of our local lakes in the summertime.

I remember when I saw that all the time on lake by me. The water quality was excellent. Now it is overdeveloped ( commercial and residential), and half of the lake has HAB warnings several months of the year. Of course it is caused by the farming run off from over development.

    AND they call that progress.

Spotty thinks he is a heron some days. He will stand there, periodically dunk his head under the water, and come up with a shad or bream. Probably has a less than 5% success rate, which makes him better than me! I can’t say whether I have caught a fish out of there or not….

And those 3 haven’t had calves yet, this fall/winter will be their first, they met their boyfriend in January. They will become hamburger in 6 or 7 years, assuming they calve every year.
