24 fury 3 to bravo fs pitch change

Currently running a 24 fury 3 on my 21 basscat eyra with 250 pro xs. Runs out good but holeshot is terrible. Tried a 23 fury 3 and holeshot was same as 24. What pitch would be equal to the 24 fury?

since no one replied, I believe you go up one pitch as the fury is a vey stiff prop -- but wait for the pros to chime in also my advice

What rpm are you currently at? With the 23 and 24?

Im currently running a 24 fury with all holes open. Looking to try a bravo fs to see if it would help with holeshot. What pitch bravo fs would keep my rpms the same as the 24 fury on the top end?

Fury 23 =Bravo FS 25.

Fury runs 2 pitches stiffer.

I don’t have a boat that’s as fast as an Eyra, but I had to run a 24 fury and 24 bravo, a 25 bravo was too much.


oh and my tempest is a 24, 25 was too much in it as well.

I just made the switch from a 23 Fury to a Bravo 1 FS 24p. Worked out great on my rig. Boat lifts much better. I’ll probably be selling my 3 blades I’m that happy with the bravo. FYI the Bravo will want to run higher on the plate for best performance.

Hey Yatesville, how's your top speed with the Bravo?

I’ve had it to 69 so far solo and full load which is right with my fury 3. I think it will be faster once I figure it out. Bravo seems to want to run higher than the fury and I’ve not had enough room to stretch it out here in WV. But I can tell you for 100 it’s superior in everything else to the fury.

I have ran 4 blade fury’s and currently run a bravo and on my rig the bravo is superior in every aspect. 25fury 4 and 26 bravo both turned about same rpms. My boat is a Legend and fairly heavy.

What is your RPMs on the hole shot? My 25 Fury had great hole shot with the holes all open just not much lift while running. Switched to a 25 Tempest with 3 large vent plugs and holeshot is still good but I get much better lift.

3700. It'll hold at 3700 until it finally breaks over. Sometimes it takes as long as 30 seconds before itll ever break over.

what is prop to pad number? is engine way deep? hyd plate?
