    Fuel air pressures

    2 b116638

I checked my fuel air pressures. Air side was 95 and fuel side was 80. What is this telling me. Needless to say it is not running well

Would not run at all with those readings
should be 94 air 109 fuel........14.2 psi spread fuel must exceed air in order for fuel to flow
    Thank You Leon Pugh

+1... switch gauges and try again.

    Record pressures:
    -At idle
    -Under Acceleration
-5/10/15 seconds after shutdown (restart for each time period).

Times beyond 15 seconds are only very remotely helpful.

What could it possibly be. I’m waiting on better fittings for my gauges. Just starting to look at it. Compressor feels good to me but I’m not an expert. I do have the right manual but was just wondering while I wait what pops up in your mind. Thanks

Diagnostics are a process, so you need to start with the test sequence in post #3.

Nothing that would permit the engine to run AT ALL with fuel pressure that far below air pressure.
