What is this bait they keep talking about?

Watching the elites this morning, and I keep hearing them talk about a “riser”. What is this bait they are referring to?

Nothing new, it has been out a while. Made for schooling fish. Cast a long ways and fish fast.

Don't know if they make different sizes, but the ones I got have small hooks for sure.

I believe it's just a fluke style bait...he's just not jerking it, he's reeling it fast and killing it

Yes he's fishing a chartreuse fluke, but also a chartreuse hard minnow style wake bait. What's that?

The KREJ is a knock off of the riser bait. The riser has been kept quiet for years.

Its been around for quite some time. One of my favorite topwater baits in the fall when you can walk on shad. Ive had quite a few in the boat for 3 or 4 years now. Its a goodin for sure.

Not. Only difference is size and the materials the lips are made out of. You can fish the riser bait as deep as you want it sinks.
