SOLIX G3N QUESTION

I have a M360 connected to this Solix G3 unit at the bow. This Solix came with a transducer that of course does SI/DI/2D. However, the unit always defaults to the M360 when I select one of the views for SI. How do I get the Solix to use the transducer mounted on my TM?

The MEGA 360 uses the two SI circuits so it is impossible to get SI from the SI transducer with it connected to the same unit.

When you select a SI view, you can tell the MEGA 360 to do Side Imaging and it will stop rotating. It orients the two SI piezos left and right (home) and you will get SI until you select the 360 view again and tell the 360 to do 360 again.

The only way to get SI from the Solix or Trolling Motor Transducers the as well as the Mega 360 imaging is to not use the Y-Cable and connect the Solix/Trolling Motor Transducer to one Solix and the Mega 360 to another Solix. That's what I do with my Apex units.

Thanks Steve, but unfortunately I only have one Solix at the bow. I am fine with the M360 doing its job, I just wanted to know if the was a way to select the TM transducer when the SI view was selected. There isn't so I will keep on keeping on!!

Not wanting to beat a dead horse, but I see that you have a Solix at the console. You could also run a transducer extension cable to the console... if you don't already have a transducer hooked up to it.
