    Frogs

Do you ever throw a frog where there’s no pads or grass? Maybe rocks.

I catch most of my frog fish in open water. Rocks, Tulle or over weeds. Can’t throw a popper that close without getting hung in tulles

I will at times...a lot of the lakes we fish will have tons of floating weeds that get chopped up from pleasure boats, just enough to make treble hook topwaters a PITA. Throw the Gavacho a lot in that. Have caught smallies on it. Ultimately it's just a topwater.

A lot of my frog bites come around bare bank, wood or in the open water around reed patches.

Yes because all we have is wood and rocks. We have no pads or grass in our lakes.

Great bait to skip into and through lay down branches. Getting fish out of them is on you. LOL.

I like to throw a frog around loose tulles (reeds) and along rocky banks, and any trees/brush. Open water is definitely not off limits !!
