    200 EFI Rebuild question

    SN is 0G667436 1998 Mercury EFI 2.5
I dropped a cylinder and had the power head rebuilt. If I keep the oil injection, should I go ahead and have the oil pump replaced while its apart ? Would it be easy to get to while the shop is putting the power head back in or would it be more work? I know its labor intensive normally Anything else oil injection related I should replace? Mechanic said the hoses were in good shape. Do the replacement pumps have the same parts aas the original pump? Can I get a pump from EuropeanAM going to call them in the morning?
I like many others am trying to decide to keep the injection or delete.
The oil injection was not the problem for the dropped cylinder. Just age its a 1998 model..
Also have some break in questions. Was told to use Mercurys break in but could not find one for a rebuild. Is it the same as a new two stroke?
Tried searching this on here I know its been covered but I never have any luck trying to use the search feature.

historically oil pump is very solid, weak link is the plastic crankshaft gear that drives the oil pump.

So would just replacing the crankshaft gear be an option?
