    I thought we were looking at another week of BBC haters talking about an upset against the Buckeyes. Hoosiers the movie was awesome!

    Great movie based on a real team that overcame the odds against the big schools. I've seen quite a few pics of the real team,the coach and they're gym, legendary around here. Lots of old gyms like theirs are still being used today and I love playing in them just for the history. I'm old school and hate that indiana went class basketball, loved it when the little guys got a shot at the big schools like in the movie.

    Same here Lee. I played in both class and the old tourney. I despise they went to class.

    Graduated in 1999 with a class of 43. Our girls softball team won the state championship in 1996 and beat Center Grove for the title. Center Grove was top ranked and defending champs. At the time we had 208 kids in the 4 grades, Center Grove had over 2000. Closest anybody in that area will ever get to a Milan/Hoosier type situation.

    Keep in mind, in wasn't a fluke that Milan won the state title. The year before they made it to the semi-state if memory serves.

    One of the best sport movies ever made IMO.
