...braid to fluoro leader on all your set-ups? Casting and spinning?
...braid to fluoro leader on all your set-ups? Casting and spinning?
No. Only if a light leader is needed.
No, not needed
Always Think Like A Fish.....No Matter How Weird it Is!!
Only on one spinning rod.
"The man of system is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it…He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chessboard.” Adam Smith, The Theory of Moral Sentiments
I do on all my spinning set ups, but i dont like using braid to fluro on my casting rods. I have tried braid to fluro on my casting rods and just don't care for it.
Pretty much on every setup when fishing rocky waters.
Only on spinning because all my spinning setups have braid. On the flipside none of my casting setups have braid on them. I hate braid on a baitcast reel and I hate line that's not braid on a spinning reel.

Treat others like you want to be treated when on the water EVEN WHEN IN A TOURNAMENT! No fish is worth having a confrontation because you cut someone off or came in on top of someone.
I always use braid to leader on a spinning combo. The only time I will use it on a baitcaster is if i'm throwing a walking topwater and I do a short leader just to keep the hooks from getting tangled up in the stupid braid.
Only on my spinning setups

Only on spinning and only in super clear waters.
On nearly every rod I own. The only ones I don’t use braid to floro with is when I’m using a frog or fishing very heavy cover.
faster to swap baits, keeps the mainline intact so it lasts longer, etc.

Yes, on every setup. It's rocky and clear here, with not much heavy cover. I do have to spool up a few reels with mono or fluoro for the beginnings and ends of the season here - I had some real problems with the braid freezing (Bonus: no backlashes though!).

I don't use it on anything. Tried it a few years ago and hated dealing with it. I also don't think it's needed.
Rarely.
No, tie it on and chunk.

On all my spinning and 80% of my casting. I use long leaders (20 foot), and I like that I can change out line constantly without going through spools of fluorocarbon. Tatsu at $60 a spool is easier to swallow when using it in 20 foot pieces.
