    Raptor Hyd. Hoses

Has anyone tried shortening Raptor Hydraulic hoses? The fittings appear to be the same size as a -4 AN straight swivel (7/16-20 Thread) for 1/4” braided hose. The maximum working pressure on the -4 straight swivel is 1900 psi. which I am aware is 2/3 of the hose rating, I just can’t imagine it’s actually generating that kind of pressure. I really hate giving up the space taken up by the 4 left over 11’ lines hydraulic lines in my rear compartment.

Hydraulics are hydraulics. Bring one of the lines to any hydraulics shop for reference and they can make new ones to spec in any length you want. It's going to run you somewhere between $25-$35 per line.
