    Nitro 911 CDC question

Are any of you familiar with this model?
Its a 2006 NITRO 911 and it has a center dual console configuration.
It has a 2006 Mercury 250 Verado on it. Smartcraft reads 142 hours. Starboard side.jpg
Dealer says it does 62 which to me seems a bit slow.

I am considering adding it to my fleet in fact I have a deposit on it. Its $19k.

I would appreciate any insight from you fellows.Attachment 446485

Nice boat. It should do more than 62 unless it has a hooked hull, be sure to check for that.

I've had my 2001 911 CDC for 12 years and basically restored it last year with seats, carpet, wet sanded gel coat and new motor. Love the layout and mine would do 68 MPH with the original 225 EFI.

The dealer may be conservative or taking the word of the previous owner, who may not have trimmed it out.

take it out for a rip.

My first "big" boat, same one, but I had the 225 on it. 10 years old when I traded it for my Z21, in all that time...batteries, and a one bilge pump. Great boat, never had a single issue with it. Mine would do about 65 if the water was flat and I had less than about a half tank, but again, I had the 225.

I bought a 2008 CDC 911 a couple years ago and basically completely restored it, including replacing the powerhead on the original Merc Optimax 225.

It's currently got a 21P prop on it which I know is not the right pitch but I'm curious as to what prop you were running on yours if you can remember?

Basically I can't get it to run over 48 with just myself in the boat with the current setup, the prop may not be the only issue but it's certainly part of the solution. I have seen quite a few posts of CDC owners saying the a 25P Tempest was their best option, just curious what you were running.

    Thanks for your time....

owned a 2001 911 for 4 years, 225 optimax. I saw better than 62, normally 66-68 range. No poles though, and did not have multiple graphs. or spot lock. imagine with all of that it maybe a 62-65 mph boat.

This is a very nice boat and I had the same model with the same motor. I loved the layout and the motor even more. Speed wise it would run mid 70s all day long no matter the load. Most people run a 25p tempest plus on the setup. I had a 27p tempest plus that Mark work for me and it ran great but again most people with this same setup are getting 70ish mph and running the 25p. For that price if it is in good shape I would buy it no question. My buddy has the same boat right now with the 250 pro xs 2 stroke and it is a 68-70 mph boat with the 25 tempest. Those 929/911 hulls are a bit of a rough ride in bad conditions but nothing you can not live with.
