    2” spacers?

I am trying to get more lift on the bow and speed on my 2018 Triton 19trx Patriot Mercury 225hp 2-stroke. I added 2 degree wedges between the motor and the 4” hydraulic jackplate. Can I add 2” spacers behind the wedges? or should I remove the wedges and just use spacers?

I don't see why you couldn't just add the spacers as well. I am having the same problem as you. I have a 6" manual jack plate currently, but instead of adding spacers and extra weak points I am going to get a hydraulic JP with a 10" set back and be done.

Read a post on here previously where an 18trx owner said jackplates larger than 6” will void the warranty.

I have no idea if this is factual though.
