I run 15 lb big game for shallow cranking. I dont need a small diameter line for this and prefer the extra abrasion resistance. Works for me.
I like 15 to 20 lb line for squarebills. I like fc helps with the big trebles on getting hooked.

Ive used 14-20lb. 20lb mono when i want it even higher in the water...14lb flouro if a noemal depth. Copoly is nice to...15lb Pline.

Izorline Platinum...12 pound when fishing laydowns and I want my D Bait to reach it's maximum depth at the end of the tree. In stump flats or around shallow grass 4 feet deep or shallower I upgrade to 15 pound Platinum
