I am told the Pearl River Valley Ass(ociation) is acting up...they want a law-rule whatever that charges any bass club fishing the Rez $100 and $5 each boat more if over 20 boats... up front...
they will tell you which launch to use...its those Rez homeowners you can bet...like some other lakes in the country...they think its private because they live on it!

IF you or your club bass fishes the Rez (I have a dozen times back when)...NOW is the time to FAX these clowns your thoughts on this proposal...
no concern to me now but once that starts its gonna be all over the state...bet on it.

Yup, That's what is happening. They are doing allot of things though. At Tommy's Trading post where allot of the Tourny's happen they have put in nice new floating docks and such.
I believe the 100.00 is for the sponsored tournys to be held not the buddy buddy ones done by the clubs.
Don't get me wrong ... It cost enough to do this hobby without extra TAXING added. But just as everybody else the have their hand in our pockets.

AMENDING SECTION 4.2, TOURNAMENTS, CONTESTS AND RODEOS ARTICLE 4, DISTRICT REGULATIONS
THE PROPOSED REGULATION IS BEING ADOPTED TO REGULATE FISHING TOURNAMENTS TO PROMOTE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE AND TO REQUIRE PAYMENT OF A PARTICIPATION FEE OF $5.00 FOR EACH BOAT IN THE TOURNAMENT IN EXCESS OF 20 BOATS AND A TOURNAMENT APPLICATION REVIEW FEE OF $100.00.
