Garmin Sidevu Improvement?

Thought I read something a couple months back about an update for the ultra units that improves side and down imaging. Can anyone confirm either way and if so, has it improved?

It seemed to be a bit better to me last time out. I did have over a month between trips and the last trip was to a place I had not been in 6 months so my opinion should be considered highly suspect :)

One thing I did notice is that the SV would scroll when I was sitting still. I think that prior to the update if the speed went to zero the SV scroll speed was very close to zero. I also feel that everything looked a little sharper and that I was seeing more detail. This is all for a 106SV with a GT50 transducer.

Yes side scan is better is it perfect no but very usable

transducer. Eventually get a Humminbird for scanning
