    YouTube creators? Post your channel

Hello everyone! I just started my YouTube channel in January as a small competition with a friend. My first few videos are just random footage from the last couple years, but recently started creating new content.

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgn...LIBcF4mxhZmn6g

Any tips or creative criticism is appreciated. Totally new and just starting out so be kind ;)

Any fellow YouTube creators feel free to add your link to this thread and I will Sub for sure! I would also appreciate any Subscribers that come my way

Gonna try and get serious about my channel as soon as I get my boat back from the shop. Planning for one video a week. What does everyone use for editing?

    Mine is https://www.youtube.com/c/603Bass

This is the latest video we have, we just started a new weekly live stream on the channel called Reel Northern Bass Talk. Six shows in so far and it's already going extremely well.

Solid plan man, it's tough to do more than that if you're not just doing clips or anything, or don't have someone dedicated to editing for you. I use Vegas Pro myself, but I've used every cheaper/stripped down version of that (like Movie Studio Platinum), as well as Adobe Premiere Pro. All have their pros/cons, the cheaper versions of Vegas Pro are really good and you only pay the one time fee and you own it. I prefer Adobe Premiere Pro above all else but hate how they moved to a subscription based service, so it gets expensive fast. Vegas has sales on their software often.

    Here's mine :)

Just keep grinding, do your keyword research and post on a regular basis. It's tough to do it every single week but be consistent and it will grow. This is my second time running a channel (first time in fishing/DIY) and been doing it for a year and a half now. I use Sony Vegas that I "borrowed" for editing, After Effects for any effects I want to make that Vegas can't do and I recently updated to a GH5 as my main camera, which I LOVE!! What a huge difference with this vs my Canon at 1080p. I use Rode wireless Go mics and lavs for my How to vids and small sony sound recorder hooked to a lav for my fishing videos.

You're constantly learning and trying new things, I absolutely love doing it. My channel is still small but the old one I used to run was almost 20k so hopefully I can get mine up there soon and beyond. Hope you guys subscribe and I'll be sure to check out the ones you guys are posting. Also, make sure you interact with your audience as much as possible!

Oh btw, get Tube Buddy - it's an awesome tool that I use extensively and you can find coupon codes online for a great price on the cheap subscription, but even the free one is handy.

    Keep grinding!

I have one, but I'm not posting it yet, it's somewhat embarassing and I'm planning to relaunch it with a bit of an update. I've spent a fortune in the last couple years trying to get better equipment for filming. I started out just filming for fun, and posting a couple videos, but want to get more serious about it.

Just as an idea of the hardware I have...I have 3 GoPro Hero 3 Blacks and just bought a Nikon D5600 (I would use a Canon Rebel, but I just like Nikon better).
Reason for using the Hero3 is they make a battery eliminator for them that replaces the battery and back door to power it and keep the USB port open for an external mic. Editing I built a custom PC and am running Corel VideoStudio X10. I haven't learned a lot about it because right about when I got that software was at the end of the fishing season in 2019, and then covid hit so I didn't fish last year.

I have helped a friend of mines channel get going, and he uses a lot of the same hardware/software I am (my recommendations) so I'll plug his channel instead (if you're a chevy gearhead...you might enjoy it). I'll plug mine when I get the channel re-branded.
