My lord I think I just subscribed to 20 new channels lol
For you guys with channels and taking all this time to edit etc is it to generate income or do you just like doing it. I dont have the personality to do it but hey I enjoy a lot of the channels.
I take pride in the solo filming and editing of my stuff. But the main thing is sharing fishing knowledge. I live, eat, and breathe fishing and it is such a joy to me to be able to share my experiences. If only 1 person learns something from me, it is a success. The income will come later

I just do it for fun, to learn a new skill. Plus I've found I learn from it about my own fishing. I've gone back and watched videos over and over and over while trying to put footage together and learned something about where the fish were positioning that day. I've also had just killer days on specific baits that later on, under the same conditions, I couldn't get a bite. Watched the old footage and figured out I'm reeling way too fast or slow, or not pausing long enough, etc.

I subbed to everyone that posted a link to their page! I think it is great that we can all support each other's channels! Now that this is 3 pages in, I might as well repost my link

I do it for the love of the sport and to help others succeed as well. I had help learning to bass fish when I was a kid and if I can help someone get into bass fishing then great! I am not monetized yet, so I do not make any money. I am hoping to get monetized someday but I am only at 93 subscribers as of writing this post. I am a long way from the required 1,000 but I am trying hard to earn every sub I get! I appreciated each and every one of you that subbed to my channel from this thread
Thanks to everyone that subscribed.
I make exactly $0 on YouTube, if I ever get monetized that's an extra bonus. I always tried to learn something new every now and then and this was it. It's been a learning curve, and I'm no where close to figuring this one out. Anyways it has some personal benefit too, in that I learn a lot by editing/watching my video. Especially in fish catches or loosing fish, I can see what went right or wrong and try to make adjustments along the way. I also hope someone picks up somethin that helps them in their fishing.
