I wish they would offer the crewmax with a 6.5' bed. I have owned a 2005 tacoma for 14 years an have zero complaints other than being to small for a growing family. I sometimes like to sleep the night before a tournament at the ramp so the 6.5' bed would make it nice. Only reason I am considering a Ford.

The insane resell value is due to the same reliability.

IMO Toyota milked this generation a few years too long.

From what I’ve read they are going to use a hybrid V6 that’s been in the Lexus line a few years.
All accounts appear that way but Toyota isn't telling until the last minute. This could be a fun engine in the new one....

I rarely see one up here.

Just pointing out the obvious. They can make half a million lower profit Camry's but only turn out 110k big profit Tundras per year? I'm not sure how you gain market share like that.

Tundras are everywhere down here. I am over in AL for a tournament and half the trucks at the ramp were Tundras.

Excellent upgrade. My RAM rides unlike nothing I've ever owned.

Less than 400ft lb, and peak power at 7.1k rpm, would make a terrible truck motor.

Yall Toyota guys will love the coils. I had them on my 15 Ram 1500 and have them on my 18 Cummins. Makes the day to day much nicer and feels way more comfortable towing.

If that's true, they didn't listen to a single complaint from Tacoma owners about the 3.5

Same here. Toyota dealer near me said most of them are sold before they get unloaded at their dealership

I'm not a Toyota truck fan. Always fun to see something new though.

I would think it could be tuned accordingly. Either way it's wishful thinking about a V8 as all signs lead to a TT V6. Not that it could be a bad thing I just like the way my Dirty Deeds exhaust sounds on my 5.7.

I love the ecoboost, tons of torque down low, hoping Toyota does something like that.

Until they can equal the 2.7 ecoboost fuel economy, I won’t be buying a ‘yota.

I'd say that's about right, half a truck.

This. In 2017 when I bought my Silverado I didn’t look seriously at the Tundra because it was the exact same truck as the 2009 I was in.
