    Zero turns

My time has come to pick up a new mower. I’ve never had a zero turn and looking for the best bang for my buck. Looking at 42”-54”. I just picked up a few yards to mow as well. None of them are huge but I’ll be mowing 5-7 yards a week during season. What’s everyone recommend?

Look for high blade tip speed, commercial grade wheel pumps, and a welded deck. You can find these in some of the less expensive residential ones. Stay away from the cheaper ones from the box stores. Might as well get a rideing mower as those. Exmark made a quest that fit the bill, but don't know if they still do.
Also, keep in mind that you can't go sideways on a hill with them and if you stop one wheel and make a sharp turn it will twist the grass and create a bare spot. You can see some you tube videos on how to turn.

    Whichever mower 'theguy' has...

Edit: I'd start the search now as there are a bunch AND Part 2 of the 90DayFiance™ re-cap starts at 2000 hrs. Eastern

Skag liberty edition is good for the money , around $4200.00 , I have one and no problem for 2 years of home use . It's no Tiger Cat but it's not 10 grand either .

Sounds like it's going to get a fair amount of use, I'd go with a commercial grade of whatever you choose. May depend on what's available for dealers near you and how their reputation is. I know several lawn care guys in this area and every one of them swears by a different brand. Skag and Exmark seem really hard to beat but I know there's others.
