I use a zoom trick worm weightless around the spawn. I like green pumpkin with chartreuse tail. Or the bright bubble gum or methalate color. I haven't had much luck with them on Shakey head. I like the net bait T-mac worms for that.

Also I would match your color to the water clarity. Not the pressure on the lake.

Trick worm is all I ever use with the exception of a Yamamoto kut tail if I’m going magnum.

    Green pumpkin or Junebug Red

Green pumpkin with a chartreuse tail, or black with red flake.

And sometimes, if they're being real picky, I'll throw black grape.

Guess, I'm not the only one that loves that color judging by the respones. Green pumpkin and black can also be good, but watermelon candy is my go to.

Yep all the time. I choose colors based more on water clarity than pressure

Green Pumpkin Purple Flake or Watermelon Seed. I also like Black on cloudy days in clear water.
