    Question Rolex

Anyone had one serviced lately? Last time I took it to an authorized jeweler and they sent to an authorized repair center. Are there any other safe options?

Hit google and search for horologists near you. That's how I found my guy a few years ago. While an AD is an option, I found no reason to pay what they wanted for repairs and general maintenance.

I have had mine since 1985. Twice at $500 each is about what I paid as well. Probably will do that again as an update appraisal was given as well.

An authorized dealer will still send it off for servicing. It’s safe no worries. Keep your watch.....almost impossible to find a new one these days. The Swiss are not shipping many to the US.

Watch Buyers Group in Calif. Good service, did not take as long as they said. Provided a quote before doing any work.

I enjoy nice watches but I will never own a Rolex because I think you can get a better watch for less with some other brands, With that being said if I owned one I would likely go though the dealer. Assuming that it was bought from an authorized dealer. I know a lot of them are bought on the grey market.

Seiko makes a lot more than 250.00 watches. The one in the link above is 53,000. I've never done anything to my old Seiko Monster, great watches for the money.
