I just converted my single axle trailer to a tandem. Axles were $202.00 each. But obviously they need to uninstall the old one, put your hubs on the new axles, (brakes if you have them) and install the new one. Possibly weld the spring seats on the new axle and get the axle lined up correctly. If its a standard length axle (hub face measurement) than the price should be reasonable. But if not, the price could be higher. So the price they gave you seems fair to me.

When I bought mine, it came with everything, including my choice of vault hubs or bearing buddy.

Had it brought to the spring shop next to my house, they said earliest would be the 20 th unless ,they can squeeze it in because it is not too big a job, ordered an axle as far as I know now it’s just wait lol
