    Fantasy football playoffs

Playoffs start this week. Roster question on who to start. David Montgomery from the Bears playing the Vikings or Clyde Edwards Helier from KC playing the Chargers? Ekeler is my other RB and Diggs is my flex so no room for both Montgomery and Edwards Helier in the lineup.

Good problem to have with both on your roster. I'd start Montgomery. The Vikings have given up a lot of rushing yards (8th most YPC) and Montgomery gets the ball more consistently than CEH it seems. I also avoid playing guys in the Thursday games unless they're my top end players.

Have to agree. Montgomery will get his touches. Every week is a guessing game with the Chiefs as to who will be the play maker that week.

I would give Montgomery a slight edge under normal circumstances. Minny's run defense is not good overall this season.

With that said, it is incredibly important to look frequently at the status of your lineup and even the opponents' defenses because the 'vid has players get pulled often at the last second. I missed the 1st seed in one of my playoff brackets because I played a player that was benched for 'vid about 3 hours before the Thursday night game. Injury reports also factor in this as well, but are a little more predictable my nature. Lineups on Wednesday mean nothing as a result.

It sucks that CEH plays on Thursday so it makes it tough as an insurance option to have a player in the lineup incase of injury/'vid.

    I'd say Montgomery.

But idk if I would listen to me. I lost and fell out of playoffs with the winning points on my bench.

I'd Roll Montgomery. CEH a decent option too as he's getting more work lately, the over under of that game is 52 points!, and both teams need to win to stay relevant in playoff race so I think KC puts up lots of points. That being said - Montgomery guaranteed to get more touches and it's a solid matchup against the Vikes.

Thanks everyone. Was leaning Montgomery when I threw this out there. You all just confirmed my thoughts.

This is the time of the year where a teams standing makes a world of difference. bTw I lost Aj Brown a month ago and lost Hopkins this week my receivers are Waddle(Miami) and Johnson(Pittsburgh),I’m in trouble!

I'm in playoffs in 2 out of 3 and all my starters seem to be getting hurt. Never fails.

I’m not certain I’d start Pittman against a tough Pats D. I’ll be there watching though!

Injuries have killed me this year. I am starting CEH tonight. I don't have Montgomery.
