3.49 a gallon in west KY.. 4.29 for premium. Dang. I know it is beating a dead horse, but I think we could be north of $4-$5 a gallon pretty quick.

Don't feel too bad guys, gas in southern Ontario is expected to hit $7.74 a gallon.
Here is my conspiratorial take on high gas prices. While I do think the increase in prices is due to supply and demand factors, I also believe it’s done purposely. Prices get jacked up to $4, $5, $6 (in come places). When it finely starts dropping it never goes back to the original prices per gallon, though the per barrel cost does or goes lower. We are just so glad to have some relief from the high prices a drop to $3 a gallon becomes the new normal. If anyone remembers the last time we went through this around 5 to 10 years ago, the price per gallon never went back down to the pre-“crisis” level and $2 plus a gallon became the norm.
This means higher profits for the oil companies and more taxes for the government. Unfortunately, I’ve grown to distrust our government and can only see the conspiracy any longer. Even the military (which I served in for 20 years) and trusted to always be apolitical, I don’t trust any longer.
