    modifications to a 2008

I got a 2008 tr21xHP, I have had this boat since I bought it used in 2013. It has been and still is a great boat, I recently upgraded all the electronics so I thought I would share as this boat defiantly is not made for a modern 12 inch graph so anyone that is thinking of doing that can see here how I did it. When i bought the boat it had a 5 inch graph in the bow and a 5 inch graph in the dash and a 9 on a ball mount. so to start out with I had to remove the 5inch from the bow and buy a new shroud from carol at C&O to replace the big hole that was left in the bow. I than replaced that with a 12 live and put it on a deck it mount with a boat logic reinforced 12 inch gimbal bracket. removed the old motor guide and added a ghost trolling motor and active target system with a AMP wedge. I also added a sea clear cable for running the electronics isolated all by themselves straight from the battery and new x2 battery to handle all that stuff.

from there moved to the dash had to replace the dash with one from Ashmore Marine Products as the factory dash has a 5 inch hole in it and is useless. you cannot mount a big graph on this boat unless you replace the dash. you have to reinforce the new dash with some brackets as the factory version is pretty weak. i used two big aluminum brackets to mount the dash to the boat and to the the gimbal , than i bought some strapping from menards and further reinforced now everything is rock solid.

attach the gimbal bracket from the other side and attach the graph and all is good u will need a spacer to push it out and above the gauges.

had new seats made by quality manufacturing plus

it is possible to make a old gal a modern warrior A lot of time and $$$ invested into this boat now but she's a modern fighting machine now ready 4 battle. so anyways if anyone is looking to do some upgrades to there boat hopefully some of this will answer some questions, its just a matter of finding the right parts.
also took the boat off the trailer last summer and totally repainted and rustproofed the trailer and replaced all the brakes and winch and tires. it definitely takes a lot of work and $$$ to keep a boat upgraded and in good shape.
    what have I learned
Ashmore Marine Products if you are looking for parts for a older triton boat anything from a dash to panels and wedges and much more.
carol at C&O marine if you are looking for factory triton parts ie like a gauge or many other parts like the bow shroud they have it all
Gimbal and mounts there are many choose the one u like the most I chose mine based on the fact it was black and powder coated to match.
seats nobody does it better than Quality Manufacturing Plus, aftermarket generic seats are cheaper but they dont even com close to the quality.
everything is on the internet or BBC if you need to do something to your boat just spend some time searching or ask here there is always an answer.
lastly take care of your boats , take the time to check them hubs.

    Looks good to me.

The bow is on the list for my 2007 21x hp. Why the wedge for the trolling motor? Asking because the Ghost is on my list. Were the angles off?

All Triton bows have a negative angle to them.

I made a homemade one … it makes ur trollling motor 90 degrees from top of
boat …will help with ur 360 and DI… to see straight down .. it carries about
    a negative 5-10 degree angle under boat…

I bought a 2010 21hp a year ago January and it had hds8's at bow and in dash and a hummingbird 9 hanging off the side of the drivers console which I hated. I used some carpentry skills to put the hummingbird recessed into the dash as well as C & O for new seats (with their employee issues at the time it was a pita) but I may well have to give Carol a call for a new bow shroud as well as mine is about pulverized.
