    Fishing Guide Galveston, Tx

We are making a vacation run at the end of May. Will be renting home near the San Louis Pass area.

Any fishing guides for the bay recommended. Would be taking wife and my oldest son, 27yrs old. We have fished Big Lake for trout in Lake Charles before. We are all getting older and need to do this kind of stuff while we can.

On a day when you are not using a guide, you can drive a few miles to the East to West Galveston Island State Park. There, you can either surf fish in the Gulf of Mexico or wade fish West Galveston Bay... or both, if you'd like.

Remember to shuffle your feet to move the sting rays out of your way while wade fishing.

A gold spoon or a plastic on a jig head will be all that you'll need. Specks (SeaTrout); reds and flounder are there much of the time. Try to fish on a moving tide, if at all possible. Enjoy yourself.
