    Propane $2.59/gal ouch

Just placed the call to have my 1000 gal propane tank filled. It's an annual ritual that I love to hate. It's nice to do it once usually during the lower prices of summer. But today it's $2.59/gal (and was a bit higher last month!) I guess I should get used to this price point, but I'm not loving it either. What kind of prices are y'all seeing in your part of the country. There seems to be a fair amount of regional differences in this commodity.

I waited until after June 1 to fill my 500 gal tank so I could get the summer price. It was $2.599 a gallon.

    Unhappy

I fill our 1000gal tank 3 times during the winter Dec., Feb. & end of March. Will need another fill up sometime in Oct. wife heats the pool during the summer. Can’t wait $$$

Last fill up in March was $3.257gal, and that’s with a 10% per gal discount because we pay at delivery.

Next city over moved up 50% on the fuel surcharge on 6/1. Going up another 25%, compounded, on 9/1, just announced.
They have natural gas turbines in the power plant. And now they've scheduled monthly meetings to for needed adjustments.
Buckle up, here comes the free pony ride. Winter is going to be very bad for some folks, for others pretty uncomfortable.

There seems to be a huge discrepancy in prices geographically. I do own my tank and this supplier has always had below average pricing for our area.
