As the say the best two days are the day you BUY the boat and the day you SELL the boat.
Boat is sold and I am NOT happy!!!!

I'm happy and sad for you........ Off to your next venture. I agree on the BS part too.
Congrats on the sale. What's next?

Are you kidding me? You just sold a boat and probably got good money for when the economy is sinking fast. Next spring, you might be able to buy a similar boat for 30% less. I see tons of boats for sale and we'll be seeing lots more. Consider yourself very lucky, its so hard to sell a boat without losing money.
I have been boatless and unhappy. I will never sell the boat I have without immediate plans to replace it. There is always a want for the new thing but I may not actually need the new thing. If I sell, then something else will be pending delivery.

Congrats on the sale, I know it was a hard decision.. but you might enjoy the pond hopping jon boats a bit more too so don’t consider it a downgrade just yet. Less pressured lakes, quieter lakes that usually have much better fishing await you now. Also there’s less maintenance.. it’s just a back to basics system but that might mean more enjoyment too. I actually prefer fishing out of a 12’ jon boat on some back woods ponds that rarely sees much fishing pressure than dealing with boat/ramp traffic, people spot poaching, maintenance of a bass boat, spending $100 on gas each trip etc..
don’t get me wrong I love my boat, but I seem to enjoy myself more fishing these smaller waters with just a jon boat and trolling motor. A few places I go I rarely ever see another person bass fishing.

Nicest equipped 18 footer I’ve ever seen…unfortunately all those upgrades are never recouped in a sale. At least you had significant money down. Glad you got it done and good luck on the next venture.
That's ALOT of info I would not want shared on a public forum...
I agree with Dean though regarding upgrades and resale value. Good luck with the next one.

Let’s not question others’ spending choices. Glass houses and all that.

I’m sure your location has a lot to do with the boat pricing also.
