I think his interaction with the NASCAR official might weigh heavy on possible penalties. I’ve never seen a driver that got out of his car not go to the ambulance when directed. He didn’t push the official but kinda slapped his hand away. This doesn’t play well with NASCAR.
That it’s taking so long for Nascar to address the incident I feel doesn’t bode well for Wallace.

I heard Wallace say something about Harvick lifting and he said "I don't lift" If it was a saturday night shoot out yeah I'm with ya. A Cup race with a ton of time left yeah that right here is why Kevin was still running and you are now sitting after ending 2 other races.


There was a lot of heat of the moment stuff going on there. I'm sure it will get tossed under the rug now and then used to promote the Vegas race next year heavily. I didn't watch the race but follow updates on facebook usually and I didn't know who won for hours cause every single update had a picture of these two. Even an article about Joey had a picture of Bubba shoving Larson as the headline.

I raced for enough time on Saturday nights. You still lift in those situations, not worth junking it early on. Now going for the win different story.

Been there and I completely agree with you that it's not worth wrecking yourself or any other when it's no where near the checkered flag lap.
Harvick lifted up cause he knew lot of racing left, and Bubba would have lost lots of positions, but they could have both gone on to finish the race, if Bubba would not have dangerously wrecked himself, Larson, and his own team mate. Knowing when your are wrong is the best thing that help you grow into a better racer, and Bubba needs to own it to move on and grow as a racer.

The saddest thing in all of this is the POS that are trying to make it a racial thing, instead of what it is unnecessary hard race driving too early in the game.

I never knew that Bubba was black or Larson was Asian until it was pointed out. Frankly I ma not sure what that matters or why it was brought up.

I got no problems with the guys roughing each other up old school nascar style but that move was dangerous and IMO should not be dismissed. Someone could have been killed.
