04 yamaha vmax 150 oil adjustment

So noticed my oil adjustment rod was not hooked up due to the plastic piece that screws to it and connect to the oil pump was broke. So I have a new one ordered and was wondering what the specs should be when hooking it back up. I've looked for a manual online but not having any luck. I just want to make sure it's getting the right amount and not wanting to mess anything up. Anyone knowledgeable on this subject? Thanks in advance

.010 off the roll pin at idle. I think.

The Z in VZ150 saying that it is an HPDI model.

The V in VZ150 is telling us that it is a VMAX. The VMAX models in 2004 only came with a 20" shaft length. The X in VZ150TXRC is a 25" shaft length model. Of which there were none in 2004.

If it is a VMAX motor and it has carburettors then the model identity, as shown on the data plate, should be V150TLRC.

I'll just have to check when I get home I wasn't to sure but it's an 05 Stratos but the motor says 04. I know it has carbs and not a hpdi.

If it is a VMAX version and has carburetors the model is a V150TLRC.

The fully closed is NOT on the idle screw. That is with the idle screw backed off. Hence is the reason for the .010 off the roll pin at idle as Mike suggested at idle. CJ

Can anyone tell me definitively if this would be the correct adjustment for a 2006 Vmax (v150TLR) as well. The nylon link rod joint connector on my motor is cracked through and I wonder if it's backed off because the gap between the oil injector lever and stopper is at least a 1/16 of an inch or more. I'm looking into this because I've been getting excessive oil coming from my carbs after running and tilting motor up. Smoking quite a bit on start up as well. I've also found the attached screenshot which is for 2006 HPDI but I wouldn't think the settings would be the same for fuel injected and carbs. Would it?

    Thank you!!!]

As yam911 said, yes it is correct. I had a carbed 150 and it was the same. .010 is not much! Cj

Shoot. Hate to beat a horse but do I need to back the idle screw off to make sure throttle valves are fully closed before adjusting the pump?
    Thank you!
