A couple summers ago I was passed by a huge log floating in the middle of the river just under the surface of the water. Just tiny bit of it would break the surface as it bobbed in the waves. Probably wouldn’t have seen it if I was on plane. I was thinking how bad that would suck to hit that at high speed. It would have probably thrown the motor up into the boat.

I'm going with he struck something that kicked him to the bank. That stretch where he's at is easily navigable at speed.

Bottom is super clean. Maybe a couple scratches. Looks good out of the water. I could go on all day.

he got bit by the Skeeter slide!...My old Skeeter and many others I have ridden in have done that when pushing the limits a bit too far.

    The FXR/ZXRs don't really slide.

Glad he’s ok. But honestly, if you just slow down a touch none of that run is difficult to navigate. There’s channel markers and everything to keep you clear of the flooded timber also.

Had a similar issue running some chutes up in LaCrosse with my Skeeter ZX225. Cut the turn just a little too hard and the boat just grabbed and went 90 degrees. Luckely, I had time to recover before hitting the bank.

Now don't be jumping to conclusions.......Just need some more time to establish what exactly that boat did wrong as it's never ever the Pro's Fault when something like this happens. There are some Serious BBC Speculation Discussions going on as to what is was.
