    Favorite Bass Jigs?

Hello everyone, I'm just getting into throwing jigs and bass fishing in general. Looking for any tips and advice I can get...I generally fish grassy lakes and shallow water. What are some that I should try/ need to have? TIA

I use a poison tail for everything except flipping. I just have a lot of confidence in them and they hold up very well when wire tied.

Swim jigs - 6th Sense Divine or Megabass Uoze

Flipping jigs - Dirty Jigs are my favorite

Punching the grass - D&M Lures Mat Rat or Hack Attack 1oz+

If you're new to fishing jigs in general then trust me on this - Youtube is your friend. Lots of great how-to videos made by pro's for all situations

Love me an Outkast Stealth Feider jig. Works great around all sorts of cover and skips really good too.

For grass, I prefer the bullet nose swim jigs that I make.

All Terrain Rattlin' AT Jig. I normally throw 1/2 oz. Seem to be a good all use jig to me.

Football: Keitech model 2, middle baits Ike micro football jigs, and some that I make using a Hyabusa shooter head
Casting/pitching: Keitech Model 1, Missile Mini Flip
Swim: Dave’s tournament tackle, Hyabusa, and some ones that I make.

although I can’t seem to get the skirt to flair/flow on my own swim jigs like the retail brands. Not sure why..

Nothing expensive, I do just as good on the $2 Walmart Arkie Jigs and the $3 home made ones my local tackle as I do the more expensive ones. Doesn't cost as much when you break one off either which will happen often depending on where you use them.

I use Jewel Jigs for everything.
Have for years dont plan to change much but we dont have a lot of lakes with grass in them.
Most of ours are really rocky.

If you want decent quality that isnt going to break the bank, look for the strike king jigs in the small clear plastic package at walmart. You get a jig and 2 trailers for $2.50. They're usually on the bottom shelf and not many people notice them

I'm a fan of dirty jigs for casting and flipping. Missile jigs have their time & place too.

Other than that I buy heads and make my own.
