    Hole Shot

I've been running a 2022 F205 with a Merc ProXS 250(Fury 23") mounted on an Atlas 6" hydraulic jackplate. When I punch the throttle the hull rises to approx. 45deg angle and then in 3-4 seconds comes down. I've been in same boat with a Yamaha 250SHO and the bow barely rises on hole shot. I've experimented with the jackplate setting w/o any improvement.Has any body else experienced this problem with the same engine and prop? Dealer said it's normal.

Remove the pvs plugs. Some ranger guys even have extra vents added. What rpm do you see when you initially go full throttle

Factory did not put any plugs in the 3 blade Fury. Usually about 5700 is as high as I run it as there's a 25mph limit on the lake i fish.Probably could turn 6,000 if I tried.
