Anyone installed a remote drain plug system in this boat (or similar)? I don't want to crawl way under every time but unsure of what is all involved.

Fish have fins, they swim
I did on an 2007 Tr21. I used a long cable and have the lever up by the ignition switch. The only obstacle I had was the location of the bilge pump housing/ screen. It fit, but is tight, functions perfect however. If I were to do it again, or if mine needs attention or repair, I'd add a 1/2 aluminum spacer to relieve the tight fit.
My thought was mounting it inside the bilge compartment lid to keep it out of sight. I don't want to drill a hole in the splash well for it...
Was it easy getting the old plug/housing out?

Old one was easy to get out. A simple L bracket would be an easy solution to do it inside the bilge/ battery compartment. Do some google searches / image and good ideas will pop up.
i installed one on my 2016 179trx in the splashwell area.....i have the 6ft. cable....just kind of made a big loop under the floor of the rear compartment.....drilling the hole was no problem....one of the best mods i've done on my boat...
I installed mine in my 2003 TR20. I did put the switch in the splashwell on the driver’s side. Used the 6” version and it fit perfectly.
my 2000 stratos 20 footer was a breeze and likely very close to the same job. get some 3m 4200 sealer to use also
