Best jigsaw blade to cut fiberglass dash.!

What’s the best blades to use to cut fiberglass dash in my Ranger bass boat.? I’ve never found any that hold up very well, and I have to take a 1/2” each side out of the opening for my depth finder to upgrade to new style. Last one I did didn’t go as well as I hoped.! I had to abandon the jigsaw and use a rotary rasp type in a die grinder which does work but takes a lot of air and my compressor isn’t the best.! Anything better and some advice would be appreciated.!! Thanks in advance.!
Had this posted in bassboat restoration page as well

This or a multi tool might be the best choice.

Dremel rotozip bit would do, I’d just use a cutoff wheel in an air die grinder

Get a Dremel and a rotary file. Magic!

Get an oscillating multi tool. They have many types/sizes of blades and it is an easy tool to use that will cur through it no problem.

I'd probably use the oscillating tool. If I went with the jigsaw, I'd use my Bosch with the orbital action set to zero, the base covered with tape, and a fresh downcut blade.

These can be jumpy - so a good heavy saw is key, keep your weight over the tool, and slow forward progress is essential.

Would a coping saw cut it? If you use a power tool you might want to use a respirator.

If you don’t have a Dremel. You can put a Dremel cutting wheel on a drill
