    Mobile home water line question

Old single wide has black pipe coming out of ground, I assume its HDPE. 1 inch. Need to connect it to 3/4 pex to supply the trailer water. I thought I could use a sharkbite fitting ( 3/4 to 1 ) but couldn't get it on the black pipe. What do you suggest to make this connection. Pex to hdpe.

I've used the barbed type push in fittings for HDPE. I'm sure there is one to do what you need. Around here you have to go to a plumbing supply house or a mobile home repair part place to get much of anything dealing with HPDE.

Black pipe barbed fitting x NPT (pipe thread). You can convert to anything from NPT. Or black plastic to pex fitting, they do make them.
