    Champlain in September

    Have been up there in the Spring and this year in July,what should I expect early September. Will be going out of Plattsburgh this time,we usually fish Vermont side. Any suggestions would be great.tia, Steve

    A little late to post but Smallies were still following bait over deep water two weeks ago, largemouth were in their usually haunts. Hopefully the smallies will move up a little shallower for you and be easier to find. I got blown off the deepwater spots and had a great time fishing the Gut and some marinas.
