We are looking to take a trip to visit family and Devils Lake is about six hours away. We would like to extend our trip and check off another state for camping and fishing in the lower 48. Looking to fish Devils Lake for walleye. Any advice or recommendations would be a big help. We have never been to the lake. Also, looking for a nice campground.

Devils Lake is my home waters. I lived there up until last fall.
Grahams Island is by far the best campground. Woodland Resort has camping spots and amazing amenities when not on the water. East Bay Campground would also be a good option.
The Casino would be acceptable.
The fall bite can be AMAZING. Good luck.
