I do. Only used it a few times after buying it this past spring since I don't need it for the type of stuff I fish in the summer. Looking forward to this fall/winter/spring when I get back out after some crappie and put it back to work.

Sounds like we fish similar water, I fish the Mississippi River. I was told by people who have it that the more sediment particles in the water the less effective it is.

I don't have it - have spoken to many anglers who do and they have had very mixed opinions on it. I am waiting for the "next generation" from these companies and then I plan to add it to the front of my boat.

Nope. But probably will purchase Mega Live in the future. Been waiting for HBird technology to gets closer to Garmin as don't want to purchase/add another bow unit.

Im also a grass and dirt shallow mud fisherman.

It is excellent in grass, even the thick stuff. It is invaluable in water less than 5ft.


I honestly use my live scope in dirt shallow mostly to see stumps and boat hazards before I hit them. It is useful for seeing fish but takes a ton of practice.
