Any recommendations on prescription polarized sunglasses. I know all the major brands can get them but I’m tired of spending $350-$400 for a pair. Lost my Wiley X’s this past weekend in the lake.

Walmart is where I get mine, think 150-200 after a little help from
Insurance. They are polarized and work great.
I have been wearing prescription sunglasses for at least ten years. I have had the same pair of Maui Jims during this period. Just bought a new pair of Maui Jims. I paid $319.00 for the glasses. Progressives, polarized lenses will most likely be around $400.00. Best there is.
Bought my first pair over 10 years ago and have not gone without them. Hopefully the next pair will be Costa's.
I wish I could buy prescription polarized sunglasses for only 400.
I’ve been getting them from Shady Rays and have had a lot of luck.
Maui Jim’s for me…awesome glasses
Recently got Costa with green mirror Rx lenses. They costalot but worth every penny.

Ya'll buying on line if so where? I don't really have a good local shop for quality prescription glasses....but just updated my prescription and need some new sunglasses...
My cataract surgery was cheaper than some of these prescription sun glasses. And yes I use Costas. I only need the readers now though.

Maui Jim has been better for me than any other brands.
Eye buy direct for prescription glasses.
Progressive lens costas we’re almost $800 8 years ago. Old only be bought through an optometrist. Replaced them with progressive polarized Costco glasses for around $225. Very happy with their performance. The costas basically melted - I’m assuming from sunscreen.

Both Sams Club and Costco have great eye glass selections. I would try them for half the price and a very good product.

I could use some, but after reading this I think I’ll pass until I absolutely need them.

I already have to purchase 2 pair of prescription safety glasses a year. I don't buy cheap either. Just a harsher environment. Insurance covers most of one pair. But the second pair is on me. Prescriptions are only good for a year. My vision according to my ophthalmologist tells me my vision is still changing. So one can understand why I use the Cocoons. For the money they really are good sunglasses.
