Little bit of liquid weld and good as new.

I bought a tire from a shop years ago. After sale and install I pulled out of the lot and the tire fell off. WTF. He had one job. A couple weeks later I checked my oil and he gifted me a 3 foot pry bar. I found it on the top of the motor. How do you misplace a 3 foot pry bar on the motor removing an old tire? I actually brought it back to him I felt so bad for the dude. He said he was looking all over for it.

i left a 8 lb long handle sledge hammer under the hood once. was using to hold up the hood on an old caddy. car came back a few weeks later and got it back. I have seen hundreds of dollars worth of tools left under the hood. usually get left on the wiper cowling

At the auto shop I worked at while attending school. One new guy's first oil change, drained oil - check, change filter - check, poured fresh oil in the radiator - new engine and no longer employed.
